Mary had mainly worked in the community for the 16 years, prior to her 3 year degree course in Chiropody/Podiatry at the University of Brighton. This is where she met and studied alongside another of our amazing Chiropody/Podiatry team, Fleur.
Her community work covered a large area from East Surrey, Crawley & Horsham, Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill, Brighton and Hove, and included Emergency Care support for vulnerable and acute patients, en-route to Accident/Emergency departments.
During these years her aim, as well as reducing pain, was to value and maintain autonomy and mobility for the patients.
Since joining The Richards’ Centre Team, as well as providing routine care for our patients, Mary has joined Abbi and Ralf as part of our home visiting team.
“I enjoy working at The Richards' Centre and being part of their Chiropody/Podiatry team. Such a supportive team and a great atmosphere. Empowering people by improving foot health, is very rewarding “

The receptionist was lovely, I got a same day appointment with Olly, he made me feel at ease and explained what my muscles were doing and taught me exercises to do at home, after treatment I felt like a new woman. I have often thought about going to an Osteopath but always felt nervous, wish I had gone years ago, he was absolutely brilliant and I definitely recommend him.Posted on Dave DickensonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Had an appointment with Ollie this afternoon, he was excellent. Explained exactly what the problem with my leg was and gave me advice on preventing the condition getting worse. Ollie worked on the hamstring in my right leg, explaining what he was doing and why. Yes it was painful and he acknowledged that, Ollie pushed me further than I would have pushed myself but the results were worth the discomfort.Posted on Stuart RobertsonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
