Sinusitis (Nasal Pain)

Sinusitis (Nasal Pain) symptoms can include headache, facial pain, pressure and tenderness, swelling of the face. Your sinuses are four pairs of air-filled cavities located in the cheeks, forehead and around the eyes. The sinuses lighten the skull, allow for voice resonance and humidify the air we breathe. Treatment can often be, gentle percussion (Tapping) and submandibular or massage along the jaw line combined with lymphatic drainage techniques to drain the face and head. Advice on the use of warm packs, steam inhalations, and exercises to stretch the facial muscles and fascia, thus reducing pressure, are all very helpful.

I was apprehensive about going but the pain I had was getting me down. The receptionist was lovely, I got a same day appointment with Olly, he made me feel at ease and explained what my muscles were doing and taught me exercises to do at home, after treatment I felt like a new woman. I have often thought about going to an Osteopath but always felt nervous, wish I had gone years ago, he was absolutely brilliant and I definitely recommend him.

Had an appointment with Ollie this afternoon, he was excellent. Explained exactly what the problem with my leg was and gave me advice on preventing the condition getting worse. Ollie worked on the hamstring in my right leg, explaining what he was doing and why. Yes it was painful and he acknowledged that, Ollie pushed me further than I would have pushed myself but the results were worth the discomfort.
