Sinusitis (Nasal Pain)

Sinusitis (Nasal Pain) symptoms can include headache, facial pain, pressure and tenderness, swelling of the face. Your sinuses are four pairs of air-filled cavities located in the cheeks, forehead and around the eyes. The sinuses lighten the skull, allow for voice resonance and humidify the air we breathe. Treatment can often be, gentle percussion (Tapping) and submandibular or massage along the jaw line combined with lymphatic drainage techniques to drain the face and head. Advice on the use of warm packs, steam inhalations, and exercises to stretch the facial muscles and fascia, thus reducing pressure, are all very helpful.Â
