OSTEOPATHIC TEAM
GOsC Registered Osteopath

Ben graduated from the British School of Osteopathy (now the University College of Osteopathy) in 2010, achieving a distinction, having previously completed a BSc (Hons) in Anatomical Sciences at the University of Bristol in 2005. Since joining The Richards’ Centre, he has built a wealth of clinical experience treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions and helping patients of all ages return to doing what they enjoy.

Ben is passionate about understanding the underlying cause of each patient’s symptoms rather than simply treating the pain. He believes that educating patients about their condition is a key part of recovery and works closely with them to develop practical self-management strategies, personalised rehabilitation and lifestyle advice alongside hands-on osteopathic treatment.

Alongside his general osteopathic practice, Ben has developed a particular interest in functional neurology, using a neurological approach to assessment and treatment to help patients with persistent and complex musculoskeletal problems. He is also qualified in Dry Needling, which he often incorporates into treatment to help relieve pain, reduce muscle tension and improve movement.

Outside the clinic, Ben enjoys keeping active through a variety of sports whenever family life allows. Much of his free time is now happily spent with his young daughter, balancing an active lifestyle with family adventures.
