GOsC Registered Osteopath
Karen graduated with a Master’s degree in Osteopathy from the British School of Osteopathy (now the University College of Osteopathy) in 2012. Shortly afterwards, she moved to Brisbane, Australia, where she spent five years in private practice before returning to the UK in 2018 to join The Richards’ Centre team.
With over a decade of clinical experience, Karen enjoys treating patients of all ages, from babies and children through to adulthood. She has a particular passion for paediatric osteopathy and holds a prestigious qualification from the renowned Osteopathic Centre for Children in London, reflecting her advanced training in caring for infants, children and young people.
Karen has a special interest in helping patients with headaches, pregnancy-related discomfort, postural problems and persistent musculoskeletal pain. She also holds qualifications in massage therapy and dry needling, enabling her to tailor each treatment using a combination of hands-on techniques, including soft tissue therapy, joint mobilisation, cranial osteopathy and dry needling where appropriate.
Karen believes every patient is unique and takes the time to understand not only their symptoms, but also the factors that may be contributing to them. Her aim is to help patients move more comfortably, recover from pain and feel confident returning to the activities they enjoy.
Away from the clinic, Karen enjoys keeping active through Hyrox training and occasionally competing in events. She also loves getting outdoors for long walks with her dog, Woody, and values the balance that an active lifestyle brings—something she encourages in many of her patients as part of their long-term health and wellbeing.

The receptionist was lovely, I got a same day appointment with Olly, he made me feel at ease and explained what my muscles were doing and taught me exercises to do at home, after treatment I felt like a new woman. I have often thought about going to an Osteopath but always felt nervous, wish I had gone years ago, he was absolutely brilliant and I definitely recommend him.Posted on Google Dave DickensonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Had an appointment with Ollie this afternoon, he was excellent. Explained exactly what the problem with my leg was and gave me advice on preventing the condition getting worse. Ollie worked on the hamstring in my right leg, explaining what he was doing and why. Yes it was painful and he acknowledged that, Ollie pushed me further than I would have pushed myself but the results were worth the discomfort.Posted on Google Stuart RobertsonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
