Marion is a very welcomed, and already popular, member of The Richards’ Centre Osteopathy Team.
Having had a long-held interest in body mechanics and health, Marion chose to study at Brunel University for her First-Class Honours BSc degree in Sports, Health, and Exercises Sciences, specialising in Human Performance. She also achieved a distinction-level 3 certificate as a Sports Massage therapist with ITEC. Then she decided to study Osteopathy!
Marion chose the prestigious UCO (University College of Osteopathy) in London, to study for her M.Ost, Masters degree in Osteopathy. Ironically this was where Mr Richards’ qualified, many years ago, but it was then the BSO (British School of Osteopathy). Marion has volunteered at several Ultra-X marathons, where her well-honed skills were utilised to the full.
As well as her sports background and interest, she is also interested in women’s health, scar adhesions, gerontology (The impact of the ageing process) as well as mental health. She is a great believer in using her various skills and experience to individualise and tailor treatments to meet her patients’ specific needs and goals.
In her spare time, she enjoys playing squash, engaging in various artistic activities and has a passion for travelling and discovering different cultures. Marion is fluent in French and English, and proficient in Portuguese.
NB: All of our Osteopathic team keep their skills updated by regular CPD (Continuing Professional Development) CPD is a necessary part of their continuing registration with GOsC (General Osteopathic Council).

The receptionist was lovely, I got a same day appointment with Olly, he made me feel at ease and explained what my muscles were doing and taught me exercises to do at home, after treatment I felt like a new woman. I have often thought about going to an Osteopath but always felt nervous, wish I had gone years ago, he was absolutely brilliant and I definitely recommend him.Posted on Dave DickensonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Had an appointment with Ollie this afternoon, he was excellent. Explained exactly what the problem with my leg was and gave me advice on preventing the condition getting worse. Ollie worked on the hamstring in my right leg, explaining what he was doing and why. Yes it was painful and he acknowledged that, Ollie pushed me further than I would have pushed myself but the results were worth the discomfort.Posted on Stuart RobertsonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
